Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I know what size I am?
We use the finest raw denim that hasn’t been treated or washed before you get them. As such, you can expect a few centimetres of shrinkage after your first wash. We recommend you buy your typical trouser size.
  • How long does it take to ship my order?

Orders are delivered using ground USPS and usually take about a week to arrive. Once your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation e-mail with tracking number (typically 1-2 business days after the order was placed).

  • How do I make a return or an exchange?

We offer free exchanges and returns for full refunds of new unwashed merchandise purchased within 15 days from the day the item is received. And, we will cover the shipping both ways. Simply enclose your jeans in the returns package provided and indicate whether you’d like a refund or a different size.

Just drop them off at your nearest mailbox. The postage has been paid for you.

  • Do you ship internationally?

We ship anywhere in the world. And it’s free.

  • I want an item, but it’s sold out. What can I do?

When the item is sold out, it’s truly gone.
At John-Addison we manufacture our jeans in limited batches of fabric from all over the world. We work with small grassroots fabric suppliers so when an exclusive run is complete, we source out a new fabric and start again. Your jeans are one of just a few. As such, pairs are limited, so if you like a fabric, you need to act fast. There’s no going back. But, don’t panic. There is always another exclusive run right around the corner, so visit us often.

  • How do I wash my jeans?

We recommend you wash your jeans inside out, in cold water, infrequently. Alternatively, you can put your jeans in a clean pillowcase and toss them in the freezer overnight to destroy bacteria, while keeping them raw. Listen to your friends… if they tell you it’s time to wash your jeans, just do it. Always lay flat to dry.
